Viva l’Italia! Beauteous Music of the High Baroque

We celebrate the golden age of Italian string music, with a concert of vibrant sonatas for one and two violins from the High Baroque era. We will hear works from Venice and the Veneto by Vivaldi and Albinoni, and from other regions represented by Corelli  and Locatelli, composers who were also proficient string players.  We welcome back violinists Katie Stevens and Christopher Stork, harpsichordist Elizabeth Ganiatsos, and cellist Marc Palmquist.
