The Age of Elegance: A Feast for Flute and Harpsichord

Doris Dungan and Elizabeth Ganiatsos revive their long-standing tradition of opening our series with a concert of Baroque music from Germany and France for flute and harpsichord. Since it’s our 45th anniversary season and they’re Consortium’s longest-serving musicians, they’ve picked favourite pieces going back to their earliest performances. They present works of elegance and charm by J. S. Bach, his forward-looking son C.P.E. Bach, Telemann, Hasse, French virtuoso flautist Blavet, and Leclair.
