DESCRIPTION:Cellists Peter Cosbey and Marc Palmquist will charm you as they open our 47th concert season\, performing duos and solos by Italian composers such as Boccherini\, Lanzetti and Dall’Abaco\, who were remarkable virtuoso cellists in their day. Both virtuosic and lyrical elements will be explored\, as the unique timbres and character of the cello are exploited. We include lovely music by Vivaldi and Viotti as well.
